Graphic Design, obviously

A creative at heart, with particular admiration for Graphic Design. Nothing engages me more than inventing new and exciting ways to seduce your retinas and occupy that space behind them. Communicating ideas on behalf of anything, from shoes, ships and sealing wax, to cabbages and kings.

Over this past decade or so I’ve been fortunate enough to work on an ever wider variety of projects. Whatever you may have in store, I’ll not settle until the brief has been answered with thoughtful and well crafted artwork.

Brands built to last

Designing a logo, and building the identity behind it has to be my favourite type of brief. These are the projects that bring out the best in me. Combining centuries old philosophies with modern applications, I always endeavour to create timeless marks with substance. Each one acting as a foundation which will support and enrich that business for the foreseeable future.

Studio Support

Much like Harrison Ford, I don’t always play Solo. An opportunity to work with other creatives is never one I turn down lightly. Fortunately my position enables me to lend a hand when needed. Whether it’s a particularly busy period, a larger than life project on the horizon, or something as simple as covering an absence, I’ll be happy to help. Either remotely or beside you from the trenches.

Artwork Overnight

We’ve all been there, and sometimes it can’t be avoided. Last minute urgent briefs that seem to come in at the worst possible time. While they can certainly feel impossible, I may be able to step in. Even if it means working through the night to make sure you have what you need by breakfast.

Additional Talents

My original creative outlet was sketching, later branching out with photography and video. Despite falling hard for graphic design, I continue to maintain these skills, allowing them to complement my chosen discipline wherever possible. Blending seamlessly to help me produce animation with motion graphics, and even build the occasional website (like this one). I can also fold a fitted sheet.
